1st Photos

A little time before breakfast near the guest house and then we'll visit our first temple in the Angkor complex - Ta Prohm. The connection seems good enough to upload our first photos. We hope you enjoy ...

Greetings from Siem Riep!

Hey everyone,
We're all doing great over here! Luckily the lost bag was found yesterday in the airport! Its been a very busy day today. We went for breakfast at a great crape place, toured a temple, and then we headed back to the airport for a short flight to Siem Riep. Once we arrived we checked into our new hotel and headed straight for the village where we were greeted literally with open arms. Both the children and the adults in the village were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They showered us with flowers and hugs and we even played a game of tag with them! Their energy was contagious and helped us temporarily fend off our jet lag. After we left the village we went to see some of the temples on tuktuks. They were all incredibly detailed and well preserved. Seeing them for afar makes me very eager to visit them later in the trip! I think I speak for everyone when I say we're having a great time and though it is not quite what I expected the country is absolutely amazing! Mr. Riege will be posting pictures of our adventure soon! Hope everything is going well at home!
